About the Snellen Chart
The Snellen chart was invented in 1862 by Dutch ophthalmologist Herman Snellen. 20/20 vision means you can see at 20 feet what a typical person sees at 20 feet. Fun fact: Cats like Jackson have about 20/100 to 20/200 vision but see much better in low light!
